The Production Associate is responsible for performing all duties associated with the assembly of small metal and plastic components into finished electro-mechanical switches for the automotive, power tool and appliance industries using manual or automated assembly equipment.

Shifts:

1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Mon. - Thurs.)

2nd Shift: 4:25 p.m. – 2:55 a.m. (Mon. – Thurs.)

Weekend 1st: 6am - 6pm (Friday - Sunday)

Pay: $18.00 per hour up to $19.50 with shift differential

*Sign-on Bonus*:

Anyone hired on 1st shift will receive a $1,500 sign on bonus. ($200 paid after working 80 hours, $400 paid after 60 days and good standing, $400 paid after 90 days and good standing and $500 paid after 120 days and good standing)

Anyone hired on 2nd shift or Weekend shift position is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. ($300 paid after working 80 hours, $850 paid after 60 days and good standing, $850 paid after 90 days and good standing and $1000 paid after 120 days and good standing)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Select, set up and operate equipment necessary to create desired assembly.
• Clear simple part jams and machine faults and perform changeover of parts as required.
• Review the quality of finished assemblies and perform basic testing and troubleshooting duties.
• Pack completed switches for shipment.
• Document production on daily basis.
• May train new Production Associates in existing procedures and current Production Associates in new procedures.
• Perform assembly and machine operator duties on an assembly line or in a cell environment as required.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training a plus.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Travel:
