Allen Flavors, Inc. is a flavor formulation and ingredient supply-company currently seeking Production Workers to work in our warehouses in various roles associated with the manufacturing of beverage formulation. This position consists of but is not limited to, working with others to manually unload raw materials into batches. This position works collaboratively with others and reports to the Plant Manager.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Purpose:

Production Workers are an essential part of Allen Flavors' success! They perform general warehouse duties and safely move material within the facility using little to no manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities of the Production Workers include:

• Operate basic manufacturing equipment
• Introduction to batching
• Learning recognition of hazardous materials
• Knowledge raw material lot tracking and location
• Inspect finished products in accordance to standards of quality, weight specifications and presentation
• Maintain and continually clean and keep department organized
• May perform labor tasks or general cleaning tasks as directed by your manager/supervisor.
• Understand and implement Company Certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense and Food Safety programs as required
• Other duties assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Skills:

• Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality and GMP’s
• Forklift certified
• Good attendance record
• Have the physical capacity to perform the job
• Ability to work as a team
• Superior communication skills
• Math and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of workplace safety
