Position Summary

Product Support specialist will support product support activities and functions organization wide. These activities will include but not limited to Tech Expo, demo execution, technology implementation, and product optimization. Train Service departments how to optimize equipment and the Parts department on finding AMS parts efficiencies. Key personal qualities include confidence, technical product knowledge, strong communication skills, and be a team player. The Product Support Specialist has a desire to constantly learn, train others, and improve to efficiencies.

Essential Job Functions

• Make recommendations on adjustments to maximize product performance
• Expert knowledge in current and non-current AMS technology
• Expert knowledge in Operations Center and Service Advisor Remote
• Assist in executing pre-season optimization support agreements
• Train Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) to sell the correct solution
• Train and assist TSMs in the effective execution of product demonstrations
• Train Service Department to optimize equipment and diagnose issues quickly and accurately
• Train Parts Department to find AMS parts efficiently and increase awareness of tools available to customers
• Assist in off-season customer training
• Aid in implementing new technologies (i.e. autonomy, see and spray etc.)
• Position may include: Working with Commercial Sales Team to focus on technology adoption and usage for Ag Service Providers (Operations Center, AgLogic, on board technology

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in Service, Parts, or Sales department operations
• Experience providing effective step-by-step instruction to internal and external customers
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
• Experience with computer functions, Microsoft Office, experience using Service ADVISOR™, Parts ADVISOR™, or other computer based diagnostic repair tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
