Job Summary
Supports Border States Services department initiatives by implementing strategy to deliver enhanced and innovative service products categorized in Workforce Augmentation. Works with stakeholders to identify required resources to manage products through entire lifecycle. Conducts initial market and design research relating to new service products. Assesses financial and technical feasibility, estimates final product cost, price, and margins, and develops strategy to bring to fruition. Interfaces with sales leadership and customers to identify needs and determine solutions. Identifies and evaluates new vendors or suppliers as needed. Manages resources to support service products and leadership of ongoing maintenance and tuning.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Develops and launches future service solutions and prototypes based on market potential and customer value.
Conducts fitness acceptance testing and forecast demands.
Deploys organizational roles and responsibilities as it relates to Workforce Augmentation initiatives and ensures Border States is properly resourced to support services products.
Delivers meaningful products that drive growth and create differentiating value in our core markets.
Creates standard operating procedures to provide clear understanding of best practices.
Develops and provides training to support BSE services.
Leads collaboration and support efforts, with focus on the regions, to develop and promote services which increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
Engages key stakeholders across the organization to support our service offering.
Evaluates existing services within Workforce Augmentation and enhances or identifies gaps in current offering and develops new services to provide our customers with focus on customer satisfaction and customer success.
Increases adoption of services in our regions through solid communication plans, training and resource requirements.
Collaborates on financial models to ensure competitive advantage and profitability.
Collaborates with sales and marketing, regional and area leadership and field sales to develop strategies to promote services which achieve share of wallet growth.
Non-essential Functions
Participates in and provides leadership within industry associations and attends events which provide a platform to learn about emerging trends and develop relationships.
Participates in and assists with sales and marketing events, trade shows and training programs to promote and enhance service suite.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
Four-year business, sales and marketing or technical degree or the equivalent in work experience.
Minimum of four years of experience with knowledge and technical competence in customer operations in the construction, industrial and utility markets.
Minimum of four years of electrical distribution experience in roles of customer service, marketing or sales with knowledge of BSE product lines and applications.
Customer inventory and project management experience helpful.
Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint), internet, email and SAP software preferred.
