As our Principal Software Systems Engineering Lead, you will be part of a system and software design and development team focused on growing and implementing solutions for Air Force, MDA, and Space Force National Space Test and Training customers. You will use your excellent technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Furthermore, you will lead engineering (SW and HW) teams through the Agile development processes to ensure that systems/deliverables meet or exceed requirements. You will know you are successful when you design, develop, integrate, and test engineering solutions that enhance our DoD capabilities. To thrive in this role, you will use your strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills to work in a highly cohesive team. The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $185,000 annually. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Required
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related field
- 15 years of experience in delivering DoD Hardware and Software solutions
- Strong organizational, time-management, written and communications skills
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to research, troubleshoot, and determine solutions
- Some travel
- Must have an in-scope security clearance
Desired
- Ability to lead and manage teams utilizing DevSecOps tools and technologies
- Strong ability to grow contracts and new business opportunities
- DoD software/system development experience
- Experience leading and collaborating with developers and testers
- Experience working multi-domain and system of systems integration
