General Description
OEM Fabricators, Inc an ISO9001 Manufacturer and former WI manufacturer of the year, has three positions open in the Fabrication department running the Press Brake. There are immediate opening on 2nd shift, Monday – Thursday 4:15 p.m. – 2:45 a.m. and 3rd shift, Friday – Sunday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at our Woodville, WI facility. OEM is among the largest custom job shops in the country specializing in the manufacturing of component parts for 25 different industries. Position Summary
Operating a Press Brake along with set up, run and operate various presses, saws, in our Fabrication department. Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and follow all Company and Department safety policies and/or procedures. Experience is necessary.
Run multiple machines including press brakes and saws and other fabrication equipment.
Program machine controls.
Select tools and set-up jobs.
Verify that parts are within drawing specifications
Work with Estimators and Supervisor on problem parts.
Correct defects immediately.
Use time and material effectively to meet or exceed Company’s requirements Advise Supervisor of problem areas.
Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Ability to read a tape measure, read blue prints and use hand tools as required. Mechanical aptitude is essential. Satisfactory employment history is necessary.
