Porter/Maintenance Job at Garden Communities NJ
Large New Jersey based Residential Development and Management company with a growing portfolio is seeking a Porter to fill a full-time position at our new community in Basking Ridge, NJ.
The Porter will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the apartment complex and all common areas of the community.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and common areas, parking lots and other community buildings
- Remove trash and recycling daily from the building and transport to outside dumpster areas
- Remove trash from the community perimeter on a daily basis
- Assist in the preparation of market ready units
- Clean apartments at time of turnover
Qualifications and Skills
The Porter must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
