Pyramid Design and Construction is a small business located in Beech Grove, IN. We have two divisions: one specializing in mechanical maintenance for companies such as Gatorade and Citizens Energy Group, and the other specializing in compressed air piping for companies such as Ingersoll Rand and Brehob Corp. We are looking for future employees who are experienced in plumbing and have well rounded experience in the field running pipe. What we are looking for:
Currently, we are looking for employees who are mechanically savvy and have a solid background in plumbing/pipefitting. Typical Compressed Air jobs can range from simply replacing rusted piping systems that only take a day to complete, to installing compressed air systems for new factories that may take months to complete. We often work with aluminum pipe and compression/shark-bite fittings but have extensive knowledge dealing with threaded, Victaulic, pro-press, and other kinds of fittings and pipe types in the range of 1/2" to 8". Typical mechanical maintenance jobs range from installing 50" ductile pipe underground to welding/fabricating pump skids. Welding knowledge is preferred but not required. Mechanical Maintenance side typically works four 10-hour days per week.

Requirements:

• General construction knowledge is necessary
• Reliable transportation to and from work (depending on experience, a work truck may be offered)
• Flexible scheduling. Ability to work weekends is strongly preferred
• Problem-solving capabilities

Additional Information:

• We often use scissor lifts and boom lifts. A fear of heights may be a concerning issue.
• Weekend work is compensated at 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays.
• Depending on experience and value added to the company, we have the ability to offer a company vehicle and/or gas reimbursement.
• Although rare, sometimes jobs are over 1.5 hours away from Indianapolis. For these jobs, we offer nightly per diem and hotel rooms at the company's expense.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
