The CDC Foundation is seeking a qualified applicant to join the Puerto Rico Department of Health. The applicant will collaborate and work with a wide range of PRDOH programs to address COVID-19 health disparities among high-risk and underserved populations, including racial and ethnic minorities and rural communities. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to seek novel solutions to advance health equity.

Qualifications:
- Master of Planning from an accredited university.
- Current Licensed Professional Planner License issued by the Puerto Rico Board of Examiners of Professional Planners is preferable.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as a planner is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and designs templates and instruments to systematize processes, following best practices.
- Supports informed decision-making and planning with reliable evidence.
- Supports the coordination of project evaluation efforts with other components (quality, compliance, evaluation, among others)
- Supports the process of determining needs, priorities, and strategies based on the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan and other primary public health documents
- Investigate, collect and analyze information to prepare plans, proposals, and databases.

- This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and Puerto Rico Department of Health, in order to best support the territory of Puerto Rico in their public health programming.
The CDC Foundation requires all employees to be fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 as a condition of employment effective November 22, 2021. All offers of employment after that date are contingent upon proof of full-vaccination status as a part of the pre-employment process.
*Fully vaccinated is defined as follows: At least two weeks have passed since receipt of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine, or the second dose of the either the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccines.
This position is located in Puerto Rico. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
