Physical Therapist-Winchester Job at PRO Physical Therapy
Job Position:
PRO Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate physical therapist interested in outpatient orthopedics to join the team. Commitment to providing personalized and dedicated care is a must as well as flexibility and the ability to work in a team. Drive for further education and personal development is also desired. At PRO PT follow-up visits are scheduled on the half hour and one hour is blocked off for new patient evaluations. There are options for 30 min to 60 min lunch breaks. Physical therapy assistants are a part of the team working with 2-3 physical therapists at a time to help manage the patient schedule. Physical therapists have the option to perform scheduling for follow up visits on their own or to allow the front desk staff to manage patient scheduling. Evaluations are scheduled by the front desk staff.

PRO Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient physical therapy practice with two facilities located in Winchester, Virginia and Front Royal, Virginia. What is expected for this position:
- 40 hours of patient contact time per week (Monday – Friday)
- Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and carry out treatment of patients within the scope of practice for physical therapists in the state of Virginia
- Perform documentation on electronic medical record system
- Work with front desk staff and administrative staff to communicate and adjust patient scheduling as needed and to help get new patients in for evaluations in a reasonable time-frame
- Work with front desk and administrative staff to communicate appropriately with other medical professionals, insurance companies, and patients as needed.
- Work with and manage care with physical therapy assistants within the scope of practice for both professions in the state of Virginia.
- At a minimum complete the required continuing education for state licensure
- Attend at least one company sponsored continuing education course per year

Requirements:
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree
- Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligible
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong orthopedic clinical skills
- New grads welcome
- BLS CPR/AED certified
- ATC, OCS, CSCS, or other recognized post-professional certification are a plus, but not necessary
