We are looking for a compassionate Physical therapist to join our team that is competent in functional/orthopedic examination procedures, has a strong understanding of neurological examinations, and has training on rehabilitation, passive and active, to include functional assessments.

Duties:

• Orthopedic and Functional Rehabilitation examination for all necessary patients
• Order passive and active rehab protocols
• Understand all functions of the medical provider
• Oversight of Rehab assistant and exercise protocols
• Monitor patient progress, ensure improvements and make any necessary recommendations to alter care plans as needed
• Understand billing and use of proper codes for all procedures
• Understand the EHR system for exams, daily notes, and billing
• General staff management
• Always maintain professional conduct and appearance
• Aid with daily business development with referrals and internal marketing
• Make recommendations for additional rehabilitation methods as you see fit

Essential Job Functions:

• Have received and or signed SOP manual / HIPPA / General Policy Manual
• EHR management software training performed
• Functional / Orthopedic examination procedures competency
• Neurological examination procedures competency
• Training on Rehab passive and active to include Functional Assessment
• Medical Services understanding of each procedure
• Basic understanding of coding within the EHR software with daily SOAP
• Use of Orthopedic Bracing competency
• TOG use

Non-essential Job Functions:

• Help with marketing as needed
• Help with general cleanliness / maintenance of office
• Make sure paperwork and daily SOAPs are complete and billing coding is correct

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license in VA
• Malpractice coverage (we will cover)

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (Friday hours end at 1)

• $110k per year
