Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem
Prairie St. John's
Fargo, North Dakota

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) from 8a-2p and 1-2 weekdays from 8a-4:30p per two week pay period.

About the Facility: Prairie St. John's is a fully licensed and accredited facility 110-inpatient bed psychiatric hosptial facility offering services for children, adolescents and adults to address mental health issues, substance use addiction or co-occurring disorders. Prairie St. John’s offers a full psychiatric and addiction continuum of care. This continuum of care includes inpatient hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization (day treatment), residential treatment, intensive outpatient services. While many patients are from the Fargo, North Dakota, Moorhead, Minnesota, and surrounding areas, we also serve individuals and their families from throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and other states. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The centralized pharmacy is currenlty open weekdays from 8am to 4:30pm with and 8a-2p on weekends. The pharmacy hours will be expanding in the future to 6pm. Pharmacy systems include HCS with an Omnicell go live in January of 2023.

Required Qualifications: ​

• High School Diploma or GED
• North Dakota Pharmacy Technician licensure active and in good standing
• Recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
