About Rolling Hills Country Club:

We are seeking a Personal Trainer for our Vistas Spa and Sports team. If you are someone who is motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, and you believe in excellence, this is the position for you.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

The Vistas Personal Trainers provide one-on-one fitness instruction and develop programs and choose exercises. Trainers evaluate their clients' physical fitness and keep track of their progress. Trainers must be able to demonstrate the movements and exercises recommended. They also provide encouragement and support for the client and recognize the client's strengths and weaknesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Skills & Abilities :

  • Certification from a nationally recognized agency such as ACE, AFFA, ASCM, NSCA, and NSPA.
  • Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications when required by the client.
  • Ability to demonstrate equipment used for exercise training.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic.
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
  • Strong team player.
  • Six months of related experience (preferred)
  • Normal work hours: Varied to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
  • This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and talk
  • Have the ability to stand for up to 7 hours a day
  • Have the ability to regularly lift heavy weights, squat, bend, reach, and spot.
  • Have the ability to frequently lift and /or move up to 45+ pounds
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Adhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times

Education/Certifications :

  • College degree in physical education or related field preferred.



PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Execution on Key Metrics

  • Sell and conduct private and small group training with members.
  • Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training.
  • Ensure accurate administration of client programs (measurement tracking, workouts, etc).
  • Arrive on time, prepared and attentive for training appointments.
  • Assist in revenue-generating activities (complimentary workouts, workshops, etc.).
  • Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives as set forth by the company in sessions, PT and supplement sales.
  • Conduct member tours, and complete sales when needed.

Member Experience

  • Focus on changing lives through Service, Science, and Sales.
  • Be a brand ambassador for Rolling Hills Country Club.
  • Conduct safe and effective private training sessions.
  • Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces.
  • Respond professionally to requests and inquiries from members and staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design.
  • Must be able to adjust and operate all Fitness Equipment.
  • Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Possess a strong customer service focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Understands basic record-keeping practices.
  • Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel.
