E ssential Functions and Objectives:
M anages the systems and structures for performance management for teachers, school leaders and staff, hourly employees. Provides high-quality, solutions-oriented guidance, support, and training for managers around performance management in collaboration with the Human Resources team. Manages the appeals and redress process for teachers and leaders.
Works with managers to identify and prioritize action steps for under-performing staff using multiple data points.- Coaches and supports managers to create and execute Performance Improvement Plans for under-performing staff members, including required documentation.
- Coaches managers to prepare for and execute evidence-driven performance management conversations with under-performing staff members.
- Collaborates with Human Resources partners to keep them informed of performance concerns and Performance Improvement Plans and to prepare any necessary next steps.
- Manages the appeals and redress process for teachers in collaboration with Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) and for leaders in collaborations with Denver School Leaders Association (DSLA).
K nowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
Five (5) or more years of experience as a classroom teacher and or school leader is preferred.- Colorado Teacher’s License is strongly preferred.
- Colorado Principal’s License is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge with Google Suite.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
