We have an opening in our Cloud Managed Services (CMS) division for a qualified PeopleSoft Technical Upgrade Specialist. This is a telecommuting position and requires minimal travel.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Identify, build, and apply PeopleSoft application and tools patches
• Plan, execute, and support PeopleTools upgrades
• Reapply customizations in conjunction with application patches and tools upgrades
• Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools
• Work across multiple modules
• Perform upgrades on multiple clients simultaneously
• Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating and resolving technical/function issues
• Debug and code SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engines, nVisions, and Queries
• Work in multiple versions of PeopleSoft applications and PeopleTools
• Configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-client remote support environment
• Create, maintain, and manage project plans for PeopleTools Upgrade projects, including running project meetings with the customer and support teams
• Work on all phases of a project – development, testing, production support, etc.
• Multitask across clients and projects
• Prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• Develop, design, and maintain process and procedure documentation consistent with Sierra-Cedar standards
• Write clear, concise documentation
• Communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of clients in a variety of circumstances

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Minimum of 8 years PeopleSoft experience
• Must have experience in multiple applications – Human Resources, Campus Solutions, Financials, Supply Chain, Customer Relationship, Enterprise Learning or Portal
• Hands-on working knowledge of PeopleSoft Change Assistant, Application Designer, Data Mover, Integration Broker, and Application Engine
• Extensive experience using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) to create and apply change packages
• Experience performing PeopleTools Upgrades
• Exposure to Elastic Search and Data Migration Workbench is a plus
• PeopleSoft Application Upgrade experience is a plus
• PeopleSoft Administration experience is a plus
• Experience working in AWS Cloud environments is a plus
• Experience working in both Oracle and SQL Server database environments is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required
