Position description

• Has direct patient contact and frequent interaction with nurses, radiology techs, desk staff, door attendants, etc.
• Transport patients, visitors, and patient-related items in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide detailed verbal communication to appropriate care team member as part of the handoff during drop off and pick up of patients which includes confirming patient identification.
• Functions independently and as a team member with minimal supervision and possesses knowledge in the use of a smart phone.
• Recognize and monitor changes in the patient’s condition which may require a medical emergency call.
• Working hours may include days, evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off. Staff may be required to attend meetings outside of normal work schedule and/or assist in the training of new employees.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years customer service experience required.

Compensation Detail

• $19.01- $26.45 / hour

Schedule details

• Day and Night shifts availalbe
• Every other holiday and 1 of 2 weekends required
