Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing policies & procedures, training and development of staff, and departmental deliverable timelines
- Directs the daily workload in assigned areas amongst team members
- Assists in developing performance benchmarks for team members
- Monitors productivity and results against benchmark data
- Assists team members with problem research and resolution
- Collaborates with other Supervisors/Managers
- Assists patients in a prompt and courteous manner and resolution of issues and questions
- Responds to all patient's billing inquiries left via voicemail or email within a timely manner
- Updates patient account information as needed for resolution of inquiry
- Submits patient grievances to appropriate facilities as requested by patient for resolution
- Responsible for general billing support functions to ensure efficient utilization of time
- Create & submit reports for text and IVR vendor daily
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma is Required, college Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 year(s) of customer service management experience required, preferably in healthcare and/or call center environment
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable use of MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
