HARTZ Search invites you to explore an exciting opportunity with our client, VHC Health, for the Director of Patient Access. This individual will assist the System Sr. Director with managing the effective and efficient scheduling and registration functions in the new Outpatient Pavilion. The new Director will monitor key performance indicators for all Hospital and Physician Group Scheduling and Registration activities within the Pavilion with emphasis on the audit of KPIs, feedback based on findings, and training to the various Hospital Outpatient Departments, Physician Practices Managers, and staff to improve accuracy, efficiency and maximize patient volume and satisfaction. This position will supervise 5 FTEs in these efforts and 9 FTEs associated with the Concierge Desk, OP Surgery, and GI registration and check-in. • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• Two years of admitting/bed control and management experience required
• One year of admitting/emergency department supervision preferred

Position Highlights:

• The Director of Patient Access reports directly to the Sr. Director of Patient Access and IV.
  • The role will have 14 FTEs, and will need to influence decision-making and change across the enterprise
  • EPIC EMR, Workday ERP – live in Fall of 2023
