Parts Personnel Job at Stemilt Growers

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Regular
Location: Maintenance – Old Station Plant
Working Shift: Day Shift
Hours & Work Days: 10:00 am – 7:30 pm, Monday - Friday; May vary depending on production.
This position will require a pre-employment drug test .
- Will be logging in all maintenance that is performed.
- Will also be working with chemicals on the line.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Analyze equipment for preventative maintenance
- Maintain date information for packing lines, including completion
- Organize parts, machinery and line items.
- Maintain current training for new equipment or machinery.
- Other duties may encompass other than the duties listed.

- Qualified individual must have record keeping skills; be proficient in Word, Excel
- Must have math, organizational, and phone network skills.
- Must be detail oriented for accuracy while working under deadlines.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Good attendance and be flexible with working schedule.
- Must have valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Must have basic hand tools for equipment disassembly, including hand grinder.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Must have or obtain forklift and ladder certification.
