Description/Job Summary

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To support the Maintenance Manager in all tasks and responsibilities


II. QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Prefer High School diploma

2. Good written and oral communication skills.

3. Good administrative skills.

4. PC knowledge


III. TRAINING: Reference Master Training Record for other training requirements.


IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Tasks and Duties

1. Enter daily work orders in the AS400.

2. Record and analyze tracking data for the work orders.

3. Setup and assign equipment numbers.

4. Setup and maintain work order generation from the AS400.

5. Setup and maintain equipment PM cycles.

6. Setup, record and analyze equipment historical files. Issue Date: 7/20/06 Form #: JD6701-102

7. Generate monthly reports by analyzing the available data.

8. Assist in repairs of the equipment as necessary such as with emergency repair coordination and yearly shutdowns.

9. Train department employees.

10. Implement cost control measures.

11. Setup and maintain SSA parts.

12. Coordinate parts issuing with other plants both incoming and outgoing.

13. Coordinate SSA information with NJHQ.

14. Control, coordinate, and maintain the cage area, fab area, commodities area, and the satellite warehouse.

15. Maintain the satellite warehouse functions including but not limited to parts descriptions, quantity levels, and issuance.

16. Enter orders and issue parts and supplies from the central and satellite warehouses.

17. Order parts on manual PRs to include normal, rush, and repair items.

18. Prepare and send parts for repair.

19. Research parts information and communicate with vendors.

20. Submit orders for approvals.

21. Keep material supplies at ample quantities.

22. Manage and issue department tools.

23. Other assigned duties by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Physical

3. Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

7. Walking, moving out on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.

9. Fingering, picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling.

10. Grasping, applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.

11. Feeling, perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

12. Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word, via face to face or telephone.

13. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds with no less than a 40 db loss @ 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, and 2000 Hz with or without correction. Ability to receive verbal communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.

14. Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.

15. Crawling, moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.

16. Pulling, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.

17. Pushing, using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.


Visual

1. Machine operation, inspection, close assembly, clerical and administrative duties. Example: preparing and analyzing data entry, CRT exposure, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, using measurement devices or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

2. Mobile equipment operations, operate cars, trucks.

3. Position requires individual to differentiate colors, depth and perception.


D. Work Environment Conditions

1. Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions not necessarily temperature conditions.

2. Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.

4. Subject to extreme cold, temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.

5. Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.

6. Subject to noise causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level.

7. Subject to hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or combustible materials.

8. Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by orders, fumes, gases, poor ventilation and dusts.

9. Subject to oils and other cutting fluids via touch or air.
