Delivers a high quality of current industry training that includes classroom instruction and hands on training to prepare students for licensure employment. Ensures curriculum meets industry standards, assess student learning and outcomes, and prepares students for licensure. Ensures proper compliance with Arizona State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology safety and sanitation procedures.

• Must have active AZ License
• This position will have MicroTeach during the interview. Candidates moving forward for an interview must complete a 30 minute manicure in-person

• Must have a current Arizona State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Nail or Cosmetology Instructor License
• Worked in the Nail Technology field for two or more years
• Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate all nail procedures in the current textbook and curriculum.
• Including manicuring, pedicuring, nail art, acrylic nail enhancements, gel nail enhancements, gel polish, dip powder nail enhancements, poly gel nail enhancements, and electric filing techniques.

• Three or more years working and teaching as a licensed Nail Technology Instructor
• Familiar working with various nail product lines
• Advanced Industry proficient techniques, including dip, acrylic, gel, all current trends of art

• Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations
• May require evenings or weekends
• May require prolonged periods of sitting
• May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs
• MCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas.
