Our part-time Child Welfare Home Based Therapist helps to support our mission and team so we can work in the most efficient and effective way. You will work out of one of our Indianapolis locations. The Staff Therapist will provide clinical services to clients who are served on the home based treatment teams. This position will conduct initial assessments of clients referred by DCS and work with other members of the clinical team to develop a recovery plan for them.

This position is part-time and has flexible scheduling.

What You'll Do:

• Provide assessment, therapy, skills development, case management services, safety planning and recovery planning to children and adults in referred by DCS.
• Assess risk, develop safety plans, report abuse and/or neglect, coordinate hospitalization or any other emergency situations
• Attend CFTM, court, and provider meetings.
• Advocate for clients’ best interests, and facilitate supervised visits,
• Educate providers and families in regards to youth’s services/needs and obtain essential documentation
• Attend court and DCS/Probation as well as team meetings for clients
• Meet agency standard for service delivery by completing contact notes, monthly reports, progress notes, CANS/ANSA, EON, required assessments and staffing by the required timeframes.
• Adhere to DCS Service Standards, Social Work Code of Ethics, and Adult and Child policy and procedures

• LCSW or LMHC preferred or must be license-eligible in Indiana
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or other closely related field
• Two (2) years of related experience preferred
• Child welfare and/or community based experience preferred
• Available to work Monday - Friday, with some availability to work evening hours but have the opportunity for flexible scheduling.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with a variety of individuals (child welfare specialists, psychologists, DCS/Probation staff)
• Strong organizational skills
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
