Arxada is looking for a Paralegal to support our Morristown, NJ office to provide legal, project and high level administrative support to the Arxada legal team. This person will work with internal and external clients to help fulfil requests. Looking for someone twho will seek ways to improve processes, solve problems and help team work more effectively. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain corporate housekeeping records, including GEMS database. Prepare and have executed all necessarily filings and paperwork under supervision of attorneys.
  • Support administrative needs of the department such as invoice processing, expense reporting and other requests as needed.
  • Support Matter Management system, ebilling and outside counsel records using matter management technology and Arxada’s financial system (SAP). Liaise with business unit finance teams to obtain charge information and details for outside legal fee payments. Assist in budgeting, accrual process, and other reporting as required.
  • Provide support to internal clients in review of completed template agreements, including sales agreements, consulting agreements, etc. Prepare amendments and other contract correspondence and documents under attorney supervision. Manage contract approval process and assist in the execution of completed contracts.
  • Perform basic research, other paralegal duties and assist in special projects under the supervision of attorneys and Legal Operations Manager.
  • Maintain and organize various documents and files as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelors preferred
  • Paralegal Certificate
  • 5-10 years working as a paralegal
  • Strong paralegal skills
  • Proficiency on standard software (Microsoft Office). SAP a plus. Experience with Legal department software, such as billing and contract management programs preferred but must be able to learn these systems
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, including Senior Management
  • Willingness to assist wherever needed, including administrative task
