JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, the focus of this position is to oversee the safe operations of various pack machines and quality control equipment. This is a full-time position located at our food manufacturing plant in Lee's Summit, MO.

This position is for 2nd shift (2:30-11pm).

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• · The supervisors manage 6 pack lines with various packaging equipment to include:
• Vertical and horizontal form, fill, and seal machines
• Automatic multi-head weighers/scales
• Automatic cartoners operating at 100 – 225 cartons per minute
• Automated bulk fill stations
• Automatic case erectors and case fillers
• Interview candidates, hire, and train to maintain adequate crewing levels.
• Manage ersonnel through coaching, teaching, disciplinary action, and termination
• Collaborate and develop processes to increase safety, efficiency, and service.
• Verify and approve time clock and payroll functions.
• Prepare documents and communicate through Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) years of leadership in a manufacturing environment (food/pharma preferred) or equivalent operating experience in dry pasta manufacturing with proven leadership
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications- Excel, Word, TEAMS, and Outlook
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at varying levels of heights.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA requirements is preferred.
• This position requires a proficient use of basic math skills.
• Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance are essential.

This position is in a manufacturing facility with temperatures 90–115 degrees, relative humidity 50-70%, and machinery noise. Hearing protection, steel-toed shoes (first pair is on us!), safety glasses, and hair restraints are required. Plant uniforms are provided and must be worn at all times in the factory.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
