Schedule and Location:
- This position is typically an 8-hour shift from 2:00p.m.-10:00 p.m.Monday through Friday
- Flexible overtime schedule when available
- Work Location: 1717 Dufek Dr, Manitowoc, WI
1. Monitor cover and cure line while Extruder Technician is on break or fulfilling other duties.
2. Share responsibility with the technician for quality and productivity of the cover and cure line.
3. Remove hose from storage reel, cut out any obvious defects, proof test as required, coil good hose on to packaging reel per spec. and stretch wrap finished reel.
4. Responsible for material handling related to the job.
5. All irregularities will be reported to the Shift Supervisor or Leader.
6. Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continual basis in order to meet plant business objectives.
7. Participate in area and process team activities and projects.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Leader.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Must be able to set-up rubber cover line downstream equipment.
- Must be able to monitor the rubber cover and cure line.
- Must use good judgment and able to make decisions.
- Must be competent in basic mathematical and analytical skills
- Must be able to routinely lift weight up to 30 lbs
- Possess good English verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
- United States Residency
- This job requires standing for the duration of the shift, including any required overtime
