CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group in Lexington, Kentucky is searching for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join an exceptional weight loss surgery program at Saint Joseph East Hospital. APP will work both outpatient clinic and inpatient.
The weight loss surgery program at CHI Saint Joseph East was established in 2001. The program received initial ASMbS COE in 2005 with sustained Center of Excellence since that time, most recent full accreditation in 2021. Current procedures include Laparoscopic and Robotic Sleeve gastrectomy and Laparoscopic and Robotic Roux en Y bypass. Annual surgical volume of 400 cases, with over 8,000 total cases performed. Dedicated OR block time 4 days per week 2 OR suites available -one laparoscopic and one robotic. MD and CRNA Experienced anesthesia group with difficult airway management protocol and experience. All staff hospital employed and dedicated to Bariatric surgery in over 5,000sqft dedicated office space with gym. Current team includes 1 full time physician assistant, 2 full time Certified Bariatric RN, Exercise Physiologist, Registered Dietician, Insurance Coordinator, MBSAQIP Quality , 2 patient schedulers. PhD Phycologist block 2 days per week. 24/7 Hospitalist, critical care specialist, interventional radiologist available.

Qualifications

Education
:
  • Board Certified - or eligible.
License/Certification:
  • Kentucky Licensure.

Pay Range
$38.63 - $56.01 / hour
