Outside Sales Representative Job at System Scale Corporation
Looking for a career where you receive an ownership stake? Employee Owned System Scale is looking for an Outside Sales Representative based out of our Memphis, TN office.
While representing a geographic region this individual will sell directly to end user industrial companies while working with other sales and service members in their region to develop and maintain ongoing relationships. An established book of business is in place with immediate additional earning potential. Expected income in year 1 would range from $72,000 - $100,000+ plus car allowance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for actively driving revenue by engaging new customers, making cold calls, following up on internal leads, and providing solutions for existing customers.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with other sales and service personnel in your region including ability to: perform site survey visits, maintain customer relationships, and recognize new opportunities.
- Willingness to be available in rare cases to customers 7 days a week.
- Ability to understand and communicate the technical aspect of products being sold.

- Must have strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Must be a leader who works well alone or as part of a team.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to seek out new opportunities independently.

Education, Experience, Requirements:
- Two years of business to business sales experience required. Experience in industrial sales preferred.
- Experience with CRMs and computerized office systems required (Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc).
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain adequate insurance coverage, and a reliable personal vehicle. Car allowance will be provided.
- Scale / weighing systems knowledge preferred, but not required. Ability to learn and operate products is required.
Pay & Benefits:
System Scale offers a competitive compensation package, which includes an initial guaranteed base salary ($72,000/year) plus commission bonuses, monthly car allowance, gas card, and industry leading benefits including a 100% company-funded retirement plan (25% of gross compensation on average). Total compensation package including retirement starting at $95,000 per year.
Additional pay opportunities available after ramp up period. All inquires confidential.
