Order Picker Job at South Mountain Creamery
South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family. We bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 20 years and counting!
We are currently hiring for an Order Picker in our Produce and Dry Goods department. Our Order Fulfillment team ensures our home delivery customers receive the freshest local products we offer.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reading order sheets
- Pull items from shelves based on customer tickets
- Ensure order accuracy
- Pack boxes quickly and with caution
- Stage items for the delivery team
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:The right person will come in with a sense of humor, is responsible, a team player, and is able to select products in a safe and efficient manner.
This position will be cross-trained to perform other functions and works in varying temperature zones – we do have refrigerated and freezer sections that house some of our products – the incumbent will need to be able to enter those environments to select the necessary items for their orders.
The Order Fulfillment Associate needs to be able to lift 30-40lbs intermittently, work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
This position will work Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm *shift may require some flexibility in end/start times
