ITA is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join the team in Reston, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate with a Secret clearance. The client is the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and primary tasks support resourcing decisions and intelligence estimates related to countering weapons of mass destruction. Secondary tasks relate to data trend analysis.
As an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA), you will provide quantitative modeling and analytical support to our client, combatant commands and forward deployed units, focused on counter weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) and threat networks that finance, build or employ such threats. Duties will include taking structured and unstructured data and distilling the information into a cohesive analytical product for the senior military audience. Candidate must be able to assist client analysts with varying levels of technical experience and leadership to define, develop, analyze and report on assigned issues which will guide the agency in resource allocation, mission development, prioritization, decision support and risk assessments. You will execute your mission through the integration of data from diverse sources, including SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, IMINT, and HUMINT to illuminate entities and networks of interest, supporting both conventional and other forces both CONUS and OCONUS.
The position is in Reston, VA.
This is a deployable position. Candidates must be willing to deploy for 4 months every 12 to 24 months.
Qualifications:
- At the Journeyman level, we are looking for a candidate with over 3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- At the Senior level, we are looking for a candidate with over 10 years of experience and a master's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Alternatively, we will accept over 18 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- Current SECRET Clearance
- Must complete prime and client suitability screening
Desired qualifications:
- Current TS Clearance with SCI access
- Degree in one of the following disciplines: Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
