Job Summary:

OpEx will be responsible for the capability, implementation, and business impact for MW operating systems within a Center of Excellence (COE).

This key leader will be responsible for ensuring the execution of strategic initiatives and capability building to drive an operationally excellent environment. The OpEx Leader will work collaboratively with the various teams to implement operational improvements that focus on improving quality, productivity, labor, and cost saving efficiencies. This role will serve as a change agent for developing and encouraging a culture that is driven by safety, discipline, transparency, and accountability.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinating, coaching and executing LEAN workshops and activities
  • Training and coaching network LEAN management (governance) execution and activities, including weekly reporting of key business metrics
  • Oversee the CoE’s site monthly, and weekly, reporting of manufacturing specific Key Performance Indicators
  • Support, coach and oversee monthly Vice President site LEAN process checks
  • Coordinate the creation, and adaptation, of resources and materials required to implement components of the organization’s manufacturing system
  • Capable of influencing and leading large, complex organizations, while maintaining and achieving goals and timelines while balancing internal stresses and priorities
  • Ability to balance many priorities and deadlines, across a complex network of highly capacity constrained manufacturing sites
  • Responsible communicate with all levels of the organization, including front-line leaders, operators and technicians up through the hierarchy to C-level

Education, Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-10 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in business, engineering or manufacturing
  • A background in LEAN, 6-sigma and other tools
  • Extensive knowledge of day-to-day best management practices
  • Experience directly leading large complex organizations
  • Can read, analyze, communicate and coach technical LEAN and manufacturing concepts
  • Interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and leadership

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
