Purpose of Position

THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO CONDUCT ONGOING RECRUITMENT AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED.

Why does the job exist?

As the vehicle coordinator, this position will track all Defensive Drivers Certificates for all DHI employees. They will monitor vehicle
mileage and maintenance schedules as well as monitor vehicle abuse reports, complaints and justifications. They will track all
driver information for DHI's WEX billing and is responsible for reporting all information from division to Administrative Services
Division.

They will be responsible for inventory tracking of all DHI equipment and assets. They will track all employee office equipment and
keep the inventory spreadsheet up to date with all current serial numbers and asset tags.

This positions will be responsible for mail distribution and making sure all logs have been updated and all mail stamped and
given to the appropriate bureau (person/s). Will give all incoming checks/money orders to the staff responsible for making sure
the bank deposit is done within our 24 hour deadline with the State Treasurer's Office.

Will answer incoming phone calls from the reception line and also handle constituent calls from the Office of the Secretary.

How does it get done?

Fleet Coordinator will track and monitor all DHI fleet through communication with division clerks and and staff and report all
needed information to the Administrative Services Division. They will track all equipment and assets of the division through excel
spreadsheets and staff Inventory forms. Will distribute all incoming mail accordingly.

Who are the customers?

Customers will be staff within DOH as well as customers outside of DOH, such as staff from other divisions and agencies.

Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate will have experience in Fleet and/or Finance functions, the SHARE Financial System and Microsoft Office Suite, such as, Excel, Word and
Outlook.

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or Equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration and/or customer service. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.

State of New Mexico employees may be impacted by the Public Health Order dated December 19, 2022, which requires facilities licensed or certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ("CMS"), including all hospital types, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospice facilities and rehabilitation facilities, as well as assisted living facilities and adult day care settings, to adhere to all COVID-related requirements prescribed by CMS, including, but not limited to masking and staff vaccination.

Office setting, exposure to VDT, extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some travel may be required.
