JOB SUMMARY:
Home Matters Caregiving is looking for a well rounded, organized self-starter who thrives on team building and client satisfaction to assist with the development of Houston’s newest office.

This vital role is tasked with assisting the Executive Administrator with building a skilled agency team while also providing a high level of care for a growing client base. You will assist with the day-to-day operations of the agency.

Home Matters Caregiving wants to be the most valuable partner to our caregivers and clients in a competitive landscape. Our Office Assistant will be key to driving the team towards a high level of caregiver and client satisfaction, increasing lifetime value, obtaining lifelong referral partners, and driving growth within our markets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a high school diploma or a GED with at least one year of experience caring for the senior population

  • Working knowledge of internet based programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be a certified nurse’s assistant

  • Prior scheduling experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in day to day operations

  • Assist in leading and developing a purposeful culture

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state accrediting bodies, local rules, and regulations

  • Assist with recruiting

  • Help with the maintenance of caregiver schedules

  • Effectively communicate with clients and their representatives, referral partners, and employees

  • Participate in local industry networking

  • Provide operational support in the field as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, ability to be on-call

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED

  • Experience: Home Health Care: 1 year

Scheduling experience: 1 year

  • Agency office

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Supervisor: Executive Administrator

  • Assist with the management of caregivers

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to participate in physical activity

  • Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity

  • Moderate lifting

  • Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis

COMPENSATION:

  • Job Type: Full-time
