New Studio Opening Manager Job at [solidcore]
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the New Studio Opening Manager oversees all operational aspects of the new studio opening process, working with the operations team, cross-functional partners, and field leadership to ensure the successful opening of all new studios assigned to them. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert in the overall [solidcore] experience and ensure every element communicates the [solidcore] vision. They will motivate and inspire the new studio teams to create the best experience for all [solidcore] clients while being protective of, and working to spread, the [solidcore] culture. When not working within a new studio opening process, you will be contributing to the [solidcore] operations team and coaching classes within their local market.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing all operational items and updating workflows/timelines involved with a new studio opening, meeting all deadlines of the new studio opening process, partnering with cross-functional departments to ensure all studio needs are satisfied prior to studio opening, and communicating with HQ and field team to align on strategies, milestones, and measures of success
- Works with Project Manager and GC as primary liaison and point of contact
- Provide new field leaders with coaching and guidance as needed and be a consistent resource for them, including weekly check-ins and coaching

- Being present for punch list/walk-thru to ensure that all studio needs are being met from the viewpoint of in-studio brand standards and operational components
- Driving day-to-day leadership and operational management prior to studio pass off to designated field leader
- Aware of all cross-functional business objectives enabling new [solidcore] studios to achieve gains in profits, market share, and customer acquisition/retention/satisfaction leading into a new studio ramp
- Consulted in the hiring, training, and developing of new field leaders, coaches, and core crew as needed
- Consulted by Operations and Marketing regarding sales growth strategies for studio memberships, class attendance, and packages, as well as retail during the opening process
- Responsible for successful presale results and communication with hand-raisers/new clients
- Being accountable for new studio operations implementation, and field execution of [solidcore] new studio programs, marketing efforts, and initiatives
- Reviewing reports and metrics with new field leaders
- Working with the new field leaders to drive the overall financial performance of studios in the initial opening phase
- Examining purchase rates and trends and making adjustments for studios as needed.
- Be a role model and demand professionalism and team member compliance with [solidcore] company handbook including, but not limited to brand consistency, client relations, and attendance
- Ensure studio experience is aligned and consistent with the company’s overall strategy including service standards Present, as needed, in the new studio during pre-opening processes through Grand Opening
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team on key initiatives and strategy for overall [solidcore] vision and success within new studios
- Contribute to all post-mortem discussions to continue to refine NSO processes and develop opening strategies
- Participation in coach training and coaching in the new studio as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Willingness to travel (up to 75%)
- The position is full-time and exempt with an expected 40 hours worked per week (including classes coached)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk through all areas of the studio
- Availability to coach a minimum of 6 classes per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and closing hours
Skills & Knowledge:
- Studio/Operational management experience with minimum 2-5 years experience in hands-on customer service, hospitality, consumer goods, or service-based industry.
- Prior experience in a high-growth/start-up company or firm, managing a new team and working with cross-functional partners.
- Direct P&L Management.
- Passion for growing a company and not being afraid to get their hands dirty.
- Professional maturity; consistently conducts themselves in a professional manner that aligns with [solidcore]’s values.
- Proactive, with the ability to anticipate business and customers’ needs.

Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000-$85,000 per year
