Energyware is a National Leader in the Energy Efficiency Industry, specializing in Solar and LED Lighting systems within the Commercial and Industrial marketplace.

We are seeking a highly motivated sales individual to Lead Sales Nationally.

The position is Remote (work from home) and requires routine travel within your territory.

Position Title: National Sales Manager

Objective: Develop and manage a customer base that allows you to meet and exceed company sales objectives. Document all relevant activities (leads, opportunities, wins, etc.) in CRM to ensure accurate sales forecasting, future lead generation and to allow for targeted marketing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales quotas.
  • Utilize your exisiting client list and contacts to generate leads.
  • Generate new direct leads via email, phone, social media, and in-person.
  • Follow-up on all leads, including company provided leads, timely and systematically with an aim towards securing new business/customers.
  • Actively participate in trade shows and association meetings/events to promote company products and services.
  • Secure appointments with key personnel (decision makers) to present company products and services to potential customers. Follow through by preparing proposals, conducting audits and closing deals.
  • Work with local utility providers to understand their incentive programs offered to local customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging solar and LED technologies.
  • Utilize HubSpot (CRM) to maintain accurate customer information, status of opportunities, sales forecasting, and to manage leads, and tasks.
  • Ability to travel and conduct audits and business meetings throughout Territory and to assist Sales and OPS Team (as needed).

Desired skills and Experience

  • 7 years of a proven track record working in Solar/LED sales with a history of exceeding sales goals.
  • Technical Sales knowledge of Solar systems.
  • Knowledge of LED lighting systems is a plus.
  • Experience with utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs desired but not a requirement.
  • Certifications and/or memberships related to the Solar, LED and energy industries a plus.
  • Having a large number of business contacts (decision makers, company owners, etc.) is a big plus.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce (CRM), Outlook & PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Competitive Base Salary, plus commission

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
