2. Prepare progress reports and presentations to MEDC and complete other reporting requirements on an as-needed basis
3. Support researchers in identifying sources of project matching funds
4. Organize and manage meetings of the OC to select projects for funding and monitor the performance of selected projects in order to to ensure the attainment of project goals and milestones
5. Build awareness and foster collaborations among public universities and research organizations throughout the State of Michigan
6. Support the Program Director in developing a close working relationship with MTRAC programs across the state in order to share best practices, identify mutually beneficial resources and assist MEDC in developing metrics and materials to ensure the success of the program
7. Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work. Actively engage in University continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Apply safety-related knowledge, skills, and practices to everyday work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and promote complex projects successfully
- Experience in grants and grant program administration or management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries and work harmoniously with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to contribute to a safe work environment.
- Three to five years in technology commercialization
- Experience with the I-Corps program
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
