Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mowing Operations Manager to oversee the operations of 3-5 crews, ensuring quality control, managing labor, materials, and subcontractors within budget constraints. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Maintenance Department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and quality workmanship. Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and coach field supervisors, subcontractors, and coordinate with mechanics and vendors for all truck and small engine repairs
• Ensure efficiency standards, control non-productive time, and meet budgets for daily scheduling of Maintenance and Detail crews
• Train new and existing field supervisors and technicians, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Develop and retain production personnel, actively recruiting and developing a solid bench of employees and subcontractors
• Oversee and validate accuracy of daily data from tablets and timesheets, and update Operations Tracker on a weekly basis
• Manage customer relations, answering questions related to landscape management, snow removal, and enhancements
• Inspect properties to ensure quality standards are met and maintain continuous communication with internal and external contacts
• Identify equipment needs and work closely with the mechanic to ensure all equipment is ready for seasonal changeovers
• Manage and help develop Snow and Ice operations, including route planning, organization, and active management during snow events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University, or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of various plants, shrubs, and other herbaceous plants, as well as weeds, pests, insects, diseases, moss, and plant disorders
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and solve practical problems
• Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to pass background and 8-panel drug screening, excluding marijuana

Compensation
$45,000-$52,000 per year (See Bonus – Company Profit Sharing Below)
