Position: Full time M-F with a rotating Saturday morning every 4-5 weeks. Entry to Mid-level
Pay: $20.44 per hour
Location: This position is hybrid with the first 3-6 months required on site, and a split week after training is complete.
The Role:
Responsible for the preparation of periodic loan accounting reports, loan payment processing and administration of mortgages and equities; reconciliation and administration of insurances, annual escrow analysis, 1098 reporting; and loan sales to FHLMC.
Adhere to and uphold Northeast Credit Union's Values and Service Standards.
A Day in the Life:
75% Maintains mortgage information including payment postings, import new loans and updating member information, processing payoffs, curtailments, monthly billing statements, escrow accounts, discharges, adjustments, and account research, etc.
15% Answers telephone inquiries from staff, members and other financial institutions regarding payoffs, change of owner, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other details of existing loans.
5% Prepare routine letters to members such as late notices, change of payments, and draw period expirations.
5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Work from home capabilities for this role are one week per month on a rotating schedule and may change based on department needs.

The Qualifications We Are Looking For:
- At least one year of similar or related experience.
- High School Degree or GED.
- Prior mortgage experience, knowledge of FICS/Crystal Reporting/Freddie Mac is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to audit and spot errors is essential.
- General ledger experience is a plus.
- Good organizational skills with multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Solid computer skills including Excel for reporting.
