We are looking to hire the right candidate to serve as our primary DNA collector at the Ellis County Courthouse in Waxahachie, TX for their pending child support cases. Having a background related to the medical field is preferred, but not required. PLEASE NOTE - This is an EXTREMELY part- time position (one shift per month)
Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude.
- LOCATION: Ellis County Courthouse
- SCHEDULE: One Tuesday per Month
- PAY RATE: $15.00/HOUR
All staff will receive complete online training/ over the phone follow up training. All supplies including gloves, alcohol wipes, testing kits, camera, film, ink pad will also be provided.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be punctual and professional with court staff and clients
- Have great written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with performing buccal (cheek swab) specimen collections
- Take Photos and Ink prints of all clients
- Must be detail oriented to ensure specimens are accurately labeled and Chain of Custody paperwork is completely fully and correctly
- Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
- Keep track of supply inventory and submit supply orders as needed
