Mental Health and Substance Use (GMHSU) Administrator Job at CVS Health

The General Mental Health and Substance Use (GMHSU) Administrator is the system of care lead for the Arizona Complete Care (ACC) line of business. Additionally, this position is responsible for the clinical and operational oversight of all Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), outpatient behavioral and integrated health non prior authorized providers for the aforementioned of business.
Additional responsibilities include the supervising of GMHSU department staff and ensuring Arizona Complete Care (ACC) contractual responsibilities for systems of care are completed and monitor provider deliverables. Additionally, the GMHSU Administrator is responsible for monitoring regarding mental health and substance use service delivery for adult members across Mercy Care's various lines of business (ex. DDD). Additionally, the GMHSU Administrator will assist in implementing new process such as the Provider use of the ASAM continuum, evaluating network sufficiency via reviewing letters of intent, provide clinical and programmatic provider oversight, assist with program development, participate and facilitate with stakeholder meetings and assist with contract enforcement as needed.
The GMHSU Administrator will regularly engage with GMHSU provider leadership to collaboratively discuss clinical processes, access to care, systemic gaps and barriers, and work collaboratively with provider leadership for continuous quality improvement of the system. The position will provide technical assistance, support, information, data, and recommendations through various activities with internal and external stakeholders. This position will serve as the ACC lead for system of care and work cross departmentally within the plan overseeing regulator deliverables, strategic initiatives and scoreable action items. The GMHSU Administrator serves as the Mercy Care subject matter expert on substance use service delivery.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years working in Behavioral and Integrated Health Care
- Prior experience in a supervisory and leadership position
- Work from Home Flexible but must reside in central Arizona
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Level Clinician Licensed in Arizona (ex. social work, counseling, related field)
- Strong Leadership Skills with prior health plan and clinical leadership experience
- Working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working in Arizona's Medicaid System with Adults
