Currently we are looking for a Medical Assistant for our El Centro office.

Primary Responsibilities:
- As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients.
- Verifies patient information, history taking, confirmation of current condition.
- Prepares patients for exam by obtaining blood pressure, weight and patient history summary
- Clean and prepare exam rooms.
- Counsels patients on physician orders.
- Updates patient information in our EMR system
- To be cross-trained and back up to co-workers
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- High School Graduate
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Team player
- Personable
- Consistently positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Workers' Compensation Medical Clinic
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Healthcare benefits.
