This is a hybrid medical assistant posting in a Surgical Oncologist's office. I am looking for individuals who want to primarily work from* home! You are required to come to office_ one day a week (Monday)*_.
In office duties include- making sure patient paperwork completed, scanning into EMR (Practice Fusion), verifying benefits, collecting co-pays, making follow up appointments, assisting in scheduling surgery, answering calls.
In home duties- answer calls, get authorization for surgeries, back-office paperwork all done electronically and paperless. All billing done off site by 3rd party.
Experience great but will train. Most importantly I am looking for a hardworking, kind and compassionate person since most of practice is dealing with patients with or recovering from cancer. Your patients will love you because you are helping to save their lives literally. If you want a job with purpose, this is it!

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
