About this Position:

Technician work critical to the building, installing, and completing system set-up and maturation activity for production equipment and new model tooling at all auto plants across North America.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with spec, manufacturing, design, and production teams for planning and implementation of projects
• Reading mechanical drawings and assembling tooling fixtures and other production equipment to print
• Completing mechanical function testing for new model tooling and equipment completing quality checks prior to shipping to the customer site
• Traveling to Auto Plant locations for online installations
• Installation of production equipment at auto plants across North America
• Creating/adjusting/updating assembly and installation schedules for production equipment
• Directing and supervising contractors building and installing production equipment
• Mechanical troubleshooting and debugging of equipment

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

2 years’ experience in mechanical field or a qualifying degree

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Desired skills:

Maintenance program, tooling build shop or robotic program experience, project leadership/planning capability, written and verbal communication skills
