Mechanical Assember:

With our continued growth, we are looking to add a motivated and hardworking Mechanical Assembler to our Pulaski, WI location. This position will be responsible for the Assembly, installation, and testing of the following of mechanical part

This is a Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. With overtime as needed.

What you will do

· Position summary: Performs subassembly and installation of all parts and material related to the steering system, charging system, ventilation system, fuel system, bonding system, propulsion components (shaft logs, shafts, struts, rudders); routing and connection of plumbing and electrical harnesses; installation and alignment of engines; installation of generators; positioning of all items installed in Mechanical Assembly.

Principal Duties

1. Check and follow assembly reference book which describes where to place all items in hull of boat.

2. Prep parts on work area: water tank, blower, bilge pump, water pump, trim tab pump, battery charger, GPS, lightening.

3. Lift all parts needed into boat. Any part weighing over 50#- gas tank, engine - use overhead hoist to maneuver around.

4. Cut transom/ holes out of aft and side of boat using appropriate tools. Drill holes for gimble unit with precut pattern in place.

5. Secure all parts into hull using appropriate equipment. Tie down excessive tubing/ wires and screw them down

6. Place all items on outside aft part of boat: trim tabs, hooks, drains utilizing appropriate equipment

7. Place stern drive in box upright from laying flat on pallet. Pull force of 61* required to move box to upright position.

8. Disassemble engine box by cutting straps, lifting off top, removing metal side poles, wrap around box. Place gimble on aft of boat which weighs 62#, lift onto wheeled stool and place on boat, which is 10 ft walking. Place engine into hull using hoist; secure down utilizing appropriate tools.

9. Fed hoses through tubing to attach with clamps, requires cutting, pulling, connecting various hoses to each other, clamping. Various body positions used with these job tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, kneeling, crawling in side hull of boat.

10. Finish securing parts/ connections using power tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
