Material Planning Associate

On November 5th, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for over-the-counter (OTC) sale of iHealth's COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test. iHealth has since been a major supplier of at-home tests to the federal government, state governments, nonprofit organizations, and individuals.
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Medical Sales Representative to join us at iHealth Labs Inc.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production, and reports to the Site Manager for any purposes.
- Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, and production schedules; also plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and ensure the accuracy of requirements data in MRP on a daily basis.
- Manage and eliminate the root cause of shortages, and also be responsible for the on-time kitting and part replacement issues.
- Support Production, Finance, Logistics, and other departments as assigned.
- Includes decision-making on timing for supplier ship schedules - allowing them to push material out, pull ahead and expedite material as needed based on inventory coverage at the plant
- Track critical parts and develop/execute containment plan to ensure no interruptions or downtime to the manufacturing line, inclusive of decision-making on mode and required delivery window to ensure continuity of production
- Follow up on all purchased parts to ensure the shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements
- The planner will be responsible for, communicating job status with customers and interpreting statements of work including technical and program requirements

Qualifications:*
- 1-2 years of work experience managing projects for Manufacturing or Supply Chain
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analysis/Supply Chain, MBA highly preferred
- Must be able to speak Mandarin, other languages are a plus
- Plus: knowledgable of how to use Oracle system
- Highly proficient in managing and analyzing data in Excel; pivot tables, filtering, sorting, reporting, charting & data analysis.
- Must be familiar with Excel and MRP/ERP tools
- Must be able to work under pressure, and pay attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
