Material Handler. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.
Job Description
Follows established policies and procedures, ensure proper and timely flow of all materials and product from arrival until stored as finish goods. Also, providing flow of all in house material and product including rework, scrap machinery, equipment and garbage. This is primarily by driving a hi-lo or by using a hand jack.

Follows established policies and procedures, ensure proper and timely flow of all materials and product from arrival until stored as finish goods. Also, providing flow of all in house material and product including rework, scrap machinery, equipment and garbage. This is primarily by driving a hi-lo or by using a hand jack.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Move large molds, rails and all necessary material
- Keep all aisles clear
- Change and recharge batteries and propane when necessary.
- Properly maintain housekeeping externally, in the dumpster area, sweep and pick up all debris. Pickup from storm drain and surrounding area as well. Keep dumpster lid closed at all times
- Properly maintain housekeeping, externally in the dock area, sweep and pick up all debris. Pick up debris from storm drain and surrounding area as well.
- Ensure that all skids stored outside are properly covered. Skid should not be exposed to water.
- Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team leader.
- Immediately notify Supervisor of all discrepancies to established quality checks (i.e. sample boards, inspection instruction.
- Communicate production and quality issues / concerns with associates during communication meetings.
- Participate in team problem solving activities (i.e., 8D, communication meeting.
- Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures (I.E, Quality Manual, Associate Handbook.
