Material Handler
As a Material Handler, you will work in the Distribution Center receiving, unpacking, counting, storing, packing, and shipping merchandise.
Responsibilities:
- Pull items from warehouse bins to fill customer orders, verifies for accuracy, separates items to be packed and shipped, and packs individual orders in proper containers to specific standards.
- Read order tickets to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Place conveyable shipping totes on conveyor belt
- Loading/unloading trailers, sorting and labeling product, putting product away, palletizing, shrink wrapping pallets, and/or scanning information using an RF Scanner
- Apply labels / hangers to product within the warehouse per specific customer requirements.
- Complete picking, packing, shipping, and preparation of pallets for shipping.
- Verify correct amount of product is in carton when labeling and ensure product is accurate against order ticket.
- Adhere to safety practices and quality standards
- Performs other duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Previous RF Scanning experience preferred
- High attention to detail while maintaining expected productivity
- Must be able to work all scheduled shift hours to include, but not limited to, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
- Must be able to lift low to medium weight (10-30 pounds) on a regular basis and heavy weight (40-50 pounds) on an occasional basis.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
