Material Handler

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Physically prepare material for domestic and international shipment (palletize, label, etc.), make MRP system shipment transactions, and schedule courier pick-ups
• Verify accuracy of incoming material, make MRP system receiving transactions, and move received materials (boxed or palletized) into designated storage locations
• Perform sample inspections of incoming material per documented procedures
• Perform periodic cycle counts of inventory materials
• Stock manufacturing line with inventory material needed to support production

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of MS Windows operating system and MS Office software
• Must be willing to work over time when required

Education/Experience

• Associate Degree in Technology Field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior experience with inventory management and SAP a plus or other MRP systems like Oracle
• Must be computer savvy with ability to learn SAP
