Billingsley Company has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Content Creator to support our overall marketing endeavors across the company. This role will be responsible for creating innovative ways to expand Billingsley’s message reach through content creation and copywriting, social media management, reputation management, media capture (including photography and video), and other content mediums.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create content for a variety of platforms including websites and social media
  • Write copy that is creative, keenly edited and proofread, and aligned with business objectives that project multiple brand voices, including corporate, multifamily, master planned communities and events.
  • Additional copywriting and editing duties to include email marketing, brochures, print ads, website SEO copy, press releases, etc.
  • Manage social media strategy, posting, and reporting for corporate account, all multifamily properties, and retail / event spaces
  • Execute reputation management by monitoring ratings and reviews for all properties, executing strategy to increase ratings on key review sites, and assisting with responses to reviews
  • Capture photography or video (with phone or company provided equipment) for social media posts and stories.
  • Gather content and create email marketing campaigns for various business segments utilizing email marketing software
  • Research consumer trends to ensure that content is effective in reaching the desired target audience
  • Track consumer analytics and use those insights to inform content creation
  • Keep current on trends and advancements in technology that can be utilized to create more effective and targeted content
  • Additional day-to-day business responsibilities include:
    • Participating in team meetings
    • Maintaining status reports and timelines
    • Organizing, tagging, and filing photography and created marketing materials
    • Create and manage content calendar for social media and email blasts
  • Editing short form video for social media and websites
  • Editing photography for posting on websites and social media

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use and manage a profile effectively for business (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Google Places, Yelp, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with ratings and reviews and reputation management platforms.
  • Proven excellence in copywriting and content creation, including proofreading and editing
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Squarespace or similar content management system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of social media software such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Zoho Social
  • Knowledge of email marketing software such as Emma, MailChimp or Constant Contact
  • Proficient in marketing and advertising terms and processes
  • Proficient in web content and graphic optimization
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain organized under tight deadlines
  • Basic proficiency in one or more Adobe Creative Suite design products (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Be a solutions-oriented thinker, working closely with various individuals and teams to provide positive ideas and recommendations to overcome sales and marketing challenges
