Job Purpose

The Embossing Press Operator is responsible for the manufacturing of our “Array Tape” product. The employee is responsible for equipment operation, general press maintenance and set up. They will also be responsible for maintaining and updating process documentation. This individual must be extremely detail oriented and very quality conscious.

Key Responsibilities

· Set Up and Operation of Embossing Presses: Press technician will be responsible for the set up, start-up, run, and basic troubleshooting.

· Perform quality spot checks: Press technician will need to perform quality spot checks on the product and raw materials as it moves through the manufacturing process. LGC will provided the necessary tools to perform these checks.

· Safety and Training: Press technicians will need to follow all safety guidelines and train press operators on safety guidelines as mandated by LGC.

· Maintain an orderly and clean work environment: Press technician will be responsible for daily and weekly maintenance tasks and cleaning as laid out in work instructions, check lists, and other provided process documentation.

· Offer constructive suggestions for process improvement: Press technician will be expected to provide insights on process and equipment improvements. These suggestions and insights will be part of the employee’s annual review.

Education and/or Experience

· High School Diploma/GED

· 1 to 3 years of previous manufacturing experience
