Logoplaste is seeking to recruit a Manufacturing System Engineer to join the plant team in Inwood, WV (USA).

SUMMARY

As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer you will work as part of the global and/or site engineering team to lead and support deployment of industrial solutions, development of industrial processes, and identification of system requirements. You will play a critical role in the interaction of systems with business processes and will be responsible for understanding the complexity of the environment the systems operate in while providing strategic improvement feedback. As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will apply working knowledge of the manufacturing processes and interactions between systems and processes to support producing high-quality product.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the digitization team on the sites doing the bridge between business and systems, and plant and Corporate
• Contact with all different level of the plant from management to shop floor
• Support implementation and rollout of different tools in the digitization Scope
• Data collection and analyses
• Training
• Troubleshooting
• Debugging
• Improvements
• Interact and with all plant intervenient with tools under the Digitization team
• Potential interaction with clients to understand needs or faults. Depending on the level of contact with the client, will need to be accompanied by a Manager.
• Tracking KPI’s of implementation of the tools
• Participate in multidisciplinary periodic meetings at the plant
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial/Computer Systems or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in industry and shop floor
• Experience with design thinking or project management preferred
• Capable to work with remote/periodic guidance
• Result oriented
• Proactive and creative problem solver with demonstrated ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills
